Ko Ruby tōku ingoa.

I was born in the sunny town of Nelson and raised on the edge of the Maitai Valley, where my family and our animals still reside.

Since relocating to Pōneke (Wellington) in 2019, I have worked across a range of government ministries, gaining valuable experience before discovering my passion for design. In 2023, I completed a Bachelor of Design for Social Innovation, with a minor in Anthropology, and have since been actively growing my career in the design space.

I’m particularly drawn to work that combines creativity with purpose, and I thrive in environments where design can create meaningful, human-centred impact.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, relaxing by the ocean, playing guitar, and experimenting in the kitchen.
